“I was twelve going on thirteen the first time I saw a dead human being. It happened in the summer of 1959—a long time ago. But only if you measure in terms of years. I was living in a small town in Oregon called Castle Rock. There were only 1281 people, but to me it was the whole world.” I watched this movie in Brazil, it changed my perspective over my still very short lived life completely. Or at least that’s what I’m telling you here. i do remember watching the translated version of this movie, i grew up like they did. Seeing Brazil IS a third world country. I did pretty much grown in the 50’s.
