I have a memory of letting a balon slip through my finger like this. It was a shiny red balloon. With lettering of some kind, I cried. I think, I felt guilt and madness in form of a six year old temper tantrum. I’d lost the balloon as we were about to enter what was the Disney land ofthe southern part of Brazil. I remember we never rode any rides or got to go in to see the attraction because it was closed. Or some other reason, I was six, I can’t remember all the details.

I do remember my mom going to a snack shack type stand near the ticket booth inside. She bought film and asked for the camera. We took pictures inside their Amusement Parks halls. posing next to the cowboy theme painted walls. Then we left and drove away.
